My little bundles of joy have thrived and accomplished many objectives these past two years in spite of every obstacle the pandemic has brought into their little lives. These unprecedented times posed an educational challenge for social-emotional learning, cognitive development and even behavioral obstacles. I would love to use the DonorsChoose funds to purchase a variety of resources and materials for our Learning Centers. Many of our centers have materials that we've bought at yard sales or second-hand stores or are homemade. The students have been excited to have "hands-on" experiences this year, using the manipulatives but it would be awesome to provide new, updated and appropriate resources for them. The centers are multi-subject covering math, language arts, science, visual arts, listening and dramatic play. We could use materials in each center to promote learning, fun and excitement in an appropriate learning setting.
