I hope to create Centers in my classroom so that students will have choices about different kinds of Art that they can create. My project is a Weaving Center. The repetitive, mindful action of weaving can help students who are dealing with trauma. The pandemic has effected all students, however, students who are already struggling for various reasons are more likely to be affected in a detrimental way. Having a choice to come to school and work on calming, mindful projects will help students who are struggling with that trauma.

About my class
