Covid has kept our instruction interrupted for two years. Many of our students, particularly our youngest learners are experiencing difficulties in learning to read. Reading research identifies a skilled reader as having two key areas developed, Word recognition and Language comprehension. Within these two areas are multiple components. With these materials I can help provide hands-on explicit instruction to build these foundational Reading skills and improve the level of Literacy in our building. These phonics, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and grammar activities will be utilized daily in the Reading Lab where students come in small groups daily to build their Reading skills.
