Being a mental health clinician over this period of time I have realized certain symptoms require different interventions that speak or ring true to the individual. When students enter my office this is their safe space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and process what intervention works best for their growth. Providing different strategies that awaken the senses (sight, verbal, tactile, and auditory) to elicit cognitive awareness are the most beneficial to the students. These workbooks will help teach a way to build a balanced life when challenges arise and reach a sense of self-actualization. When working on an activity in the workbook the student is inspired to look beyond the surface and delve into the internal struggles they are experiencing. The workbooks provides a safe place to express thoughts and feelings in a more conceptual way to elicit change. These workbooks are designed for the students to take home and engage in self awareness and reflect on personal growth with support of the mental health clinician.
