My 3rd grade students are in need of tools to help in all aspects of learning, but specifically Math and Reading. By receiving the Osmo kits and iPad, we will be able to incorporate our math and reading into a technology aspect the students are not use to seeing daily. This will also promote engagement and collaboration when completing this in a small group. Math stacks will be a way to practice basic math skills that 3rd graders need to build on as the year progresses. This will be able to be done in a small group setting and the game aspect will engage my students. Due to the pandemic, these are skills that are not as sharp as they should be by the time they reach 3rd grade. Funding this project will allow me to provide different ways to review and sharpen Math and Reading skills that are needed to be a successful student.
