Our classroom is active and inspiring. My students love our hands-on projects and makerspace materials. There is freedom to find seating and space within the room that works best for each student. My students would love to expand on those opportunities with much needed supplies for our makerspace and more options for flexible seating. Covid-19 has contributed to students feeling uncertain and frustrated, and they also have struggled to go back to the structure of a rigid classroom setting-- by having a classroom in which they can fully engage in a comfortable space, the students will learn better and hopefully be more ready to face the challenges life gives.
