These books, materials and manipulatives will be used in the classroom to allow students to observe, question, learn, and discover science, math and literature. For example, the students will use the thermometers to test water temperatures as you add different variables. These supplies will support hands on learning! They will discover the effect of solar energy when using solar beads. My students will be able to have a better understanding of fractions with a visual manipulative. I have also included privacy boards so students would be able to create a private corner while reading their new books! These books will support imagination and allow my students to broaden their current book genres. It is one thing to tell a student, but it is another to have them discover for themselves.
