Covid has stretched my students immensely. I have seen restlessness and stress in a majority of my students. My project is twofold. I have included some pedal bikes for their desks, some other flexible seating, and my classroom library. The flexible seating was included to help my students get out some of their energy. As their lives have shifted due to the pandemic, they may not be able to get their energy out in the way that they are used to. This makes them restless in class and keeps them from being their most successful. I have included these on my project to try and help them get their energy out in a productive way so they can focus on their school work. I have also included new editions to my classroom library. This is important to help against the struggles of Covid-19 because it can help them escape from the stress of the pandemic. This is to help their mental health. Finding a book that helps them relax and feel at peace is important so they can reset themselves. I have included a variety of big ticket series that I don't have in my library to help reach the most amount of students possible and provide that escapism.
