I will be able to pull students for small group reading time. This will allow each group in my room to get one on one time with me. As new readers, I think that a think-pair-share time with the teacher is a great way to keep each student engaged. This allows me to monitor the progress of each student in the room. Some students are not comfortable reading aloud in whole group settings which causes the student to experience anxiety. I am very excited to be able to spend time with each small group. This time allows me to help and encourage the students. I will ability group the students for the think-pair-share time. The table and chairs will really help me advance the students in their individual learning journey.
