Students in my classroom have sensory needs that require them to have an outlet. This project will allow me to set up sensory areas in which my students will be able to seek the activity to best regulate their bodies. Students will be able to go into the sensory room when they are feeling overwhelmed and need a place to calm themselves. The sensory sox is a unique way in which my students will be able to be in a safe, tight space that allows them to self-calm and get their bodies regulated.
