My students are a vulnerable population who often need sensory breaks, and very gentle handling. They view the world very differently than most people. Because of this they also need a different kind of classroom as well. Our class learns by doing, feeling, and role playing in order to make learning successful. Everything we do is sensory, tactile, or kinesthetic in some way. We strive to ensure we touch every sense, teach in various ways and accommodate who our kids are and what they need to learn as well as how.
