My struggling students will benefit tremendously from a print rich classroom, as well as picture supplemented instructions and anchor charts. Having posted items in color as well as reading passages printed in color is much more engaging and my students will be more motivated to read and follow instructions independently. Right now, my school only has a black and white printer available for my use, and sending items to a professional print store is very costly and time consuming. With a color laser printer as opposed to an ink jet printer, my prints will last longer and be much more cost effective and it will save time that can be applied towards preparing more engaging activities for my students! This printer will also be a great resource for the rest of my 2nd grade team to be able to create and print engaging materials for their students as well!
