My first grade students have had to adapt to in-person learning after spending a year of learning behind a screen. For most, this is their first time in any classroom setting. These materials will really help my students that are still learning to self regulate. I would like to have as many options available for students to fidget in their spaces without it taking away from their learning or that of others. I would also like to give them the opportunity to continue nurturing their creativity and social skills by building and creating together. My students will also benefit from having a reliable, working set of headphones to use especially during a time in which we rely so much on technology. My goal with this project is to really be able to address all my students needs in the classroom to better help them have a successful first year of school.
