Our art classes host an exciting mix of students ranging from 6th grade through 12th with a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. These are bright and curious students who are growing in leaps and bounds and it is my privilege to teach them about art and empower them to make their lives and their outlooks more beautiful through art. We study art history and art theory, along with developing artistic skills. Every week, my students amaze me with their unique insights into great works of art. From Michaelangelo to Mondrian, these students provide unique perspectives, exciting new ideas, and astonishing observations that open up the art in new and beautiful ways! After breaking down the drawing process into a few simple steps, it is pure joy to see the students produce their first drawing, astonished at their own abilities and progress.
