Gaining a larger library of books will better engage my students to find something of interest to encourage more reading. Reading is the basis of a classroom and encouraging it by having books students will love is where it all begins, especially at such a crucial stage of children's learning. Each book was chosen due to the interests and needs of my students. A classroom is a place for diverse learners, therefore it requires a variety of items to reach each and every one of them. This includes meeting the needs of the wigglers, the time takers, the explorers, the painters, the reluctant readers, and those that are accelerated in their learning.

About my class
