The items I selected with help my students in various ways. I wanted to create a relaxation Station for students to come decompress when they are feeling overwhelmed. I wanted to have a chair massage for students to sit on in our relaxation area of the counseling center. This area offers coloring books, fidget toys, essential oil diffusers, and more. I wanted to provide an academic station in the connection center for our low income/ disadvantage students. This is where the additional monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speaker will fit in. The additional speaker with Microphone, will be used by the counseling department for when we have larger group events. We have a new student connections center, that will help facilitate study areas, showers, laundry, and a small food area. We want students to be able to come in for food and snacks to help with behaviors throughout the year. These items will be a great addition to our counseling department.
