Covid has narrowed everybody's world! For months kids were confined to the walls of their homes, and to the screens that were before them. I want to remind my students that we are GLOBAL citizens! I want to help them develop empathy and compassion for people who look and believe differently than they do. In looking outward, I hope to help them heal things that may be hurting inside their own hearts. I hope that by sparking curiosity about the world and it's inhabitants, I will plant seeds that will help these kids find a desire to right the wrongs in our world..

About my class
