My school is in the process of becoming a STEAM academy, and the students will have the opportunity to learn in a different, more technological way. With many students not being able to access the Internet at home, the desktop provided will give the students an opportunity to complete assignments. Being a school that is Google-based, the students will be able to log into their own profiles, save their work, and, at times, work collaboratively in a common workspace. Having a color printer is something that further enhances student work and provides the opportunity for students to not only print out materials fro my class but for their other subject areas as well. The combination of the desktop computer and printer within my class will be a game-changer.
