My students are in need of books to feed their love of reading. They are in need of diverse and interesting books that will take them to new places and teach them new things. Seeing themselves, their culture, and people who look like them will feed their love of reading and encourage them to continue to keep reading. Our classroom library was empty when I took over and I have been able to start to add some books to it. They love reading books and learning about new stories and new people!
