This project will help students enjoy a famous painting and also learn about the technique the artist used in his original artwork. Students will find relief in the humor of adding something they enjoy into the painting, making them part of this famous work. They will study the style of Hokusai and his many woodcut prints, learning about the series he created of Mount Fuji from different angles of the area. Continuing learning and finding a purpose in creating art will help my students develop a love for the arts.
