The project is the magnification of minute objects and the calculation of their original size. Then have students bring into the classroom items of curiosity where they can do their own discovery. The students will make predictions and calculations to verify their predictions. Then the students verify what they have found with other students and on the internet. The objective behind this is to go across the curriculum to establish math and science and to make connections between the two disciplines. It is a hands-on project that enhances understanding for students.
