This project comes from a request from many of my students. My classroom currently has cramped desk seating and fluorescent lighting. It is, and has been, a personal goal of mine to do what I can as an educator to meet the diverse needs of students. One of these is the necessity of a comfortable, flexible, and adaptable learning environment. While some of my students benefit from brighter, fluorescent lighting and learning at a desk, others strive in low-lighting environments with softer seating. By donating to this project, you are helping students make the most out of their time in my classroom. When students learn in an environment that is suited to their needs, they will be able to increase their attention, focus, and academic achievement.
