Our ELL students are from all around the world speaking many languages and are beautiful, hard-working students. Access to education is often a struggle, and students end up working twice as hard while translating curriculum daily. Help our students learn to love reading while building vocabulary, comprehension, and engagement through low-level, high-lexile books! These selected novels will engage students by high interest reading while scaffolding students through lower vocabulary. As students read vocabulary at their level, they will gradually increase their lexile as they increase their reading difficulty. Meeting them where they are is key.
