Health & fitness are essential to a student's overall well-being. The mind only works if the body is healthy. In high school, it is imperative that students develop healthy habits & a sense of responsibility when it comes to their bodies. In this respect, athletics play host to an important role in students' lives. They learn how to take care of themselves while having fun! Athletics also provides students with an area to develop leadership skills outside the classroom, build self-confidence, & communicate with their peers. In order to create such an environment, we need a few supplies for our students! My students in track and field will use these supplies to help regulate and maintain their great efforts with their running and other events. Having the supplies like having water bottles at their convenience for those that don’t bring water, bags to help carry with equipment, and snacks to help keep their energy levels up for our runners throughout the season
