For this project, I will have my students create a beautiful colored pencil drawing of their choice on black paper. With high quality colored pencils, this type of project can turn out awesome! I want my students to feel proud of their artwork and I think this is a great project for accomplishing that! Nice colored pencils and pens will be a great addition to my students learning because they will easily be able to take supplies home if needed (unlike acrylic paints and glue projects). The metallic paints will be used for final touches to spice it up at the end!
