The students I work with have a wide range and abilities and disabilities. These tools help them to manage both those strengths and the weaknesses that they have. Items such as fidgets and calming tools can help to empower my students by providing them with choices and resources to regain their power. These students have so much to offer but when they become overwhelmed with everyday stressors that school and home life can bring, I want to be able to provide resources and teaching moments to help them overcome that.

About my class
