Covid-19 has had a lasting impact on not only our students but their families. We have students come to us and tell us that their parents have lost their jobs, that they have moved into tight quarters with family members, and don't have the financial security that they were used to. We are requesting food items to feed our hungry students and an LED sign to post positive affirmations daily for our students and let them know they are loved and supported here at school! Our goal for this project is to ensure that we have the necessary food items to get food into their stomachs and have a kind student chosen message to read each day so they are ready to take on their classes for the day! Going hungry should never be a student's worry here at school and a positive mindset should be the first thing they see in the morning. Let's motivate them with a positive message each day and let them know that their teachers are here for them if and when they need it!
