The kindergarten students in our classroom are excited about all subjects in school but especially learning technology! Because we are masked and distanced in our classroom, utilizing our classroom Chromebooks is the best way for students to get the one on one support they need.
Technology is second nature for kindergarteners, but they need your support for it to be best utilized in our classroom with wireless, noise cancelling headphones. We spend time each day with high quality research based programs to improve their literacy skills including phonics, early reading skills, comprehension and speaking and listening.
Even with regular headphones this can be difficult in a classroom with all the students "talking" to their computer to practice the skills out loud at the same time. Another problem with wired headsets in lower grades is that the plug breaks off in the computer which requires time lost in repairs or replacement.
The wireless and noise cancelling features will be exactly what my students need to help them learn and practice the basic skills to build a foundation of reading, speaking and listening.
