In the past 2 years, I have received much less in donations of school supplies from families than other years, so being able to get school supplies to have in the class for them to use whenever they need will be very helpful. During the past 2 years, kids have been living through rough times so having more games and materials to play with other kids at recess will help them follow rules, make friends and socialize. Also, the Science 4th grade curriculum has changed, so getting some informational books will help my students realize that Science is around us everywhere as well as improve their reading skills in Spanish.
