I have noticed how unprepared my students come to school. They literal don't have a pencil or paper. I would like to request school supplies to help students to prepare. I have noticed it more and more, especially after Covid. I truly believe if I student comes to school they are willing to learn. But if they get to school and have no way of taking notes are doing an assignment, then we are a little sunk in the water. Some students will use this as an excuse to not work. If I have supplies there is no reason they can't do the assignment. I like to say there are no excuses, you get to learn today! So I would like to have resources for my students. I would even like to have a calculator they can borrow in class or borrow to take home, with a written agreement to return of course. I know if my students are given the opportunity to have the resources they need, they are more likely to be successful in class. Thanks for your consideration!
