Teachers know what students like. Kids like stickers, snacks, and fidgets but most of all they like help. Being a Special Education co-teacher and traveling class to class allows me to reach students on a individual or small group basis and having tangible rewards is a bonus. Students love the idea of having one-on-one help or small group help. Please fund this project so I will have a portable tutoring corner. The fold up chairs with the desk top can be used anywhere. Needless to say, it is important to protect students self-concept by keeping tutoring as private as possible. We could work in the hall or in the corner of the room without disturbing other students or embarrassing students who need help. Our school is 100% free and reduced, still my students are generous. They will share treats brought from home and are quick to offer peers help and encouragement. Please fund this project so I can give back with my help and with rewards and treats from you.
