As an online school counselor, I spend hours each week meeting digitally online with students, parents, and other educators. I focus on academic planning, social-emotional learning, and developing skills and abilities in students to prepare students for the workplace. Technology is such a useful tool in connecting me with each student to help them meet their goals and dreams. The Ipad will help me show students amazing college and career opportunities through our digital meetings. Right now, I just tell students about helpful apps. The Ipad can help me show students how to access many of the apps that are for college and career readiness. Instead of just telling them about the app, I can jump in and show them the amazing tools that we have.
