I am requesting an iPad, Apple Pencil, and Apple TV. In a hands-on setting like my shop and maker spaces, students rely on being able to see instructions and demonstrations given by the teacher in order to keep them safe and to understand what they need to do. This is very difficult to do with up to 40 students in a workshop. Traditionally, students have to crowd around a table leaving students in areas where it is difficult to see be engaged with what is going on. With these resources we can broadcast shop demonstrations onto a larger screen which will enable students to engage with the demonstration regardless of their proximity to the table where the demonstration is taking place. This will allow students to maintain a safer distance from one another and reduce the risk of virus transmission, as well as give equal opportunity for the students standing in the back to see. By zooming in on the demonstrations with the iPad students will be able to see much more clearly the fine details that are being taught or emphasized.
