Along with having severe cognitive disabilities, many of my students have severe health issues and are unable to share materials in class. Because they also are needing individualized programs, it can get very expensive. Many of our parents have concerns about keeping their child healthy when sending them to school. By ensuring parents they have their own materials and aren't needing to share, they are able to feel confident knowing their child is less at risk. By getting the laminating machine, binding materials, whiteboards and classroom supplies I will be able to create materials for each student so there will be no cross contamination.
