Today more than ever, physical education class plays an important role in the development of students’ physical and mental well-being. At our school, our focus is to create a health school environment by providing our students with different sports options throughout the school year. We want to teach our students to play tennis because it has so many benefits. Many of our students have never picked up a tennis racket in their life. Tennis is a sport that can improve health, wellness and happiness! Tennis is the perfect sport for students to interact with each other socially, something the pandemic has denied them to do for the past 2 years. It’s a great way for young players to make friends and develop their social skills. Additionally, tennis can help relieve stress because it forces us to focus on the game at task, instead of focusing on our stresses. We are looking forward to teaching our kids that tennis can be fun and beneficial in so many ways. With your help, we will be able to get tennis balls, nets, and rackets that we need for our tennis lessons.
