The Creative Play Stations are motivation to do assigned classwork (reading, writing, projects). Doing their assignment and following directions means earning the opportunity to be one of the first students chosen to go to stations (limited to 3 people at each station). Being first means you will get to play with your first choices in the stations. There is a great deal of competition to be the first students or student table chosen to go to stations. Currently, the most sought-after stations are the LEGOs and Tinker Toys. But "new puzzles" and Lincoln Logs are also usually full. I think new station materials will heighten the competition. I think the space puzzle will be the most sought-after puzzle. I also hope that the students will enjoy the world and state puzzles. Few of our students have ever been out of South Carolina.
