In my supplies request, I have included art supplies, snacks, and a place for stressed out students to relax and read, or even nap, if needed. Many of my students come to school tired, anxious, upset, and confused about the current world climate. My students have too much stress in their lives and school shouldn't be add another level of anxiety. They should come here knowing they will be safe and have some of their needs met, and feel excited to be here. My goal is to make school a place my students want to be every day.
