Technology is a way to help teachers actively engage students in the classroom. However, when teachers don't have access to enough devices for students it makes it hard to engage every student and keep the pacing of lesson moving. Having more devices will allow students to be actively engaged in accessing programs in writing, science and programs like Nearpod that allow students to be actively engaged in the discussion. Having more devices will also allow more collaborative work for students. They can work collaboratively on assignments and be involved in the discussion. It raises levels of engagement and access to higher level learning. The devices will also be used for at home learning in case our school needs to go to online learning due to the pandemic. These devices will make it easier for parents to access classroom work at home and make the workload easier for siblings and parents.
