These resources will help my students tremendously! The Bean Bag chair will be added to my calm-down corner. I plan to wrap the rope lights around my whiteboard so that I can have a soothing, color glow when I conduct groups. The fluorescent lighting is harsh and too bright for some students. My students learn better while playing therapy games and utilizing hands-on activities. The fishing game and carpet squares will be additional tools that can be utilized! All of these resources will help my students learn how to better cope with the heightened level of anxiety that they are experiencing!
