The whiteboards will be used daily in class to ensure each student is actively engaged in the lesson. I want each student to feel like they are contributing and thinking critically about the lesson everyday. The books are for a reading project that requires students to read three novels about real world problems. These books are chosen specifically to help students gain empathy for others and practice gratitude within themselves. It also gives students more opportunity to read from physical texts which will prepare them for education after college. My hope is that these resources truly prepare students to transition into adulthood with ease.
