This project will include a novel study of the autobiography, "I am Malala," as a part of my empathy unit. These students have been through so much because of Covid 19 and the effects of the pandemic. There's nothing better than a novel to help students gain perspective in their own lives and gain greater understanding of others. My students are nearing adulthood and many of them are developing their own opinions about world issues. This project will give them insights into what women across the world deal with every day trying to get an education.

About my class
