In any creative process, in order to make connections between the dots that have yet to be connected, students require time and space to clear their minds, relax, and think. A classroom set of yoga mats will provide more than just an area to stretch, but a private room within a room, where students can find their creative centers, relax, and listen. A place to prepare for further collaboration. Because sometimes the best way to solve a problem is to quit obsessing over it with your peers and let the subconscious mind of the inquirer do the work.
