More than ever, it is important middle school students develop a love of reading. This project is designed to create a classroom library that will encourage reluctant readers as well as challenge avid readers to read books that have proven to be page turners as well as titles that are not as well-known but have great literary value. Included in this list of books are those by diverse authors and those touching on multicultural themes. Students will be able to check books out from this library to take home when they are engaged in remote learning, but they will also be used when students are in the classroom.
