It is my first year in charge of the cheerleading program, and I want to build it up as much as possible. We currently have no equipment, and this would be a great first addition to our cheerleading program, and we would be able to build upon this in coming years. This equipment will help students develop tumbling skills that will allow them to try out for higher-level teams when they enter high school or all-star teams outside of school. This mat is a safe way to teach beginner tumblers how to do back handsprings and back tucks- it prevents athletes from sustaining serious injury, and the shape allows for a spotter.
