With Covid-19 every present in our society, my students have to practice personal and social integrity. As such, they are often missing in-person instruction and must participate virtually. This can be quite difficult considering the lack of necessary supplies. This project will allow students to be able to rent a calculator and take them home if they need to. To ensure equity in student learning, technology must be available to all my students. No matter if the student is in person or tuning in virtually, having the technology will allow learning to happen. My students have put in so much effort. It would be unfair to be held back by not having a calculator. With the calculator, my students will get the practice time that they need to become familiar enough to be successful on the AP Calculus Exam. Part of the exam includes sections where a calculator is required. I hope to provide the best calculator that I can so my students have the best opportunity to earn credit.
