The materials that I am requesting will be used to give students a unit on baseball/softball in PE class. Baseball/softball are rarely played in PE class because of limited equipment. Gloves can be very expensive and hard to find. Gloves, a trainer net, and quality baseballs will provide students with an in-depth lesson on how to catch, throw, hit and play baseball. These items are also good quality that will last with some wear and tear. I want to give students an opportunity to try something out of their comfort zone; baseball is not a common sport to play, so it will allow them to try something new.
