These snap circuit kits will help enhance my students education by being able to design and build simple machines. Utah third grade science standard 3.3 is force affects motion. These kits will allow my students a hands on opportunity to plan and carry out investigations, analyze and interpret data, construct an explanation, ask questions and design a solution. All of which are included in the science standard. My students are more engaged when they are able to not only visualize, but actually build the designs they come up with. This helps the students trouble shoot to find any errors, and actually see their work come to life. Teaching in a small Title One school, our students do not get opportunities like this. Having this opportunity will greatly enhance their learning.
