The Friday before school started, I got the call that I would be teaching kindergarten on Tuesday. With an empty room and as much creative power I could muster, I have put together a room with the bare necessities to get my students learning. We could use a few more resources as they progress through the year! We have been fortunate to have iPads supplied to our room, but we would love to have headphones to help the students stay focused. I have been checking out books for different subjects we are studying and would love to have our own class copy for students to be able to handle and reread themselves. From my students who never went to preschool and are still learning letters, to my students that are new to the country and are learning English, to my students that are avid readers and are ready to start writing, we would like various educational games tailored to their needs.
