My students take daily breaks in the special education setting. These activities will allow my students to decompress when they need a break from their classroom setting. My students love hands-on activities where they get to use their creativity and imagination so I know that they will love all of these games and building activities. I have students who are sensory seekers so the fidgets and sensory toys will be great for them. I have also added a rug and chairs to the project. This will allow for a quiet corner in the classroom where students can relax and read when they are overstimulated.
