These materials will make a difference with my students' learning in quite a few ways. Having materials stocked up such as pencils and erasers will allow students to be ready to learn as soon as they come into class. Since I have many grade levels, having these materials available will help transitions go smoothly and students won't have to worry about bringing anything with them. As students earn points for working hard and being on task, they will be able to choose from the variety of puzzle eraser animals that can also double as a fidget. These erasers can be broken apart and pieced back together which develops problem solving skills. Students love these fun little prizes and can strive to earn them throughout the year. Pop it fidgets will be a great tool for students to use when they are feeling antsy and need something to release some energy into. These fidgets will help to calm and refocus students. My hope with adding plants to the classroom is that they will help to create a sense of calm and serenity. These plants are also beneficial to students' brain power because they add extra oxygen into our classroom and one of the plants listed helps to purify the air helping to keep our room healthy. As a classroom heavily focused on reading, the organization bins will be used to improve the functionality of our class library. For the different grade levels, there will be specific bins that allow them to easily find something that fits their reading level. Overall these materials will be used to enhance our classroom and create an environment that is ideal for learning.
